1/20/2023 0 Comments Kindergarten agePlease note: The compulsory school age in Pennsylvania was recently changed and requires all students to begin school no later than age 6 and attend school until age 18 or until graduation. We ask that only one person attend the appointment, whenever possible. Please note, you are required to wear a face mask when attending the in-person enrollment appointment. You may also at that time provide any documents you were unable to upload. Children may defer entry into kindergarten until the following year on application to the school board. Entry into kindergarten is not compulsory, with mandatory school age at 6 years old. There, you will answer several questions about your registration and schedule a day and time to visit the enrollment office and sign your child’s paperwork. Primary and elementary school starts with a full day kindergarten program in the year the child turns five. Required documents (including Proof of Birth, Immunization Records, Proof of Address) can be submitted electronically.ĭuring the enrollment process, you will login or create an account in ParentVUE, our student information system.
